How about that English garden?

With the outdoor thermometor just sinking and the snow making it perfectly clear that it's here to stay for a while my thoughts drift away to spring and this lovely English Surrey garden. If you concentrate can't you just hear someone walking over on the gravel with teacups, smell the lavender, feel the sun in your face and hear the birdsong? I certainly can. From Shoot Factory.

Our Bathroom

As the New Year quickly is arriving it's time to make our minds up about our bathroom...

Elegant and refined are the key words we're looking for here...

I loooove French shutter doors and want to incorporate these in some way...

We finally fell for this bathroom, lovely cream, adore the soap dish and the grown-up feeling of it all - yet it's very simple. The only question is - what floor should we have? We've looked at both a grey carrara marble and also a cream limestone.. What do you think?

For the shower we've looked at either having large whole slabs with marble or limestone - clean and elegant - or tiles like the ones on the shower in this bathroom or the one below. Question is - what suits picture 5 the best? 1) Carrara with whole slabs in shower too, 2) cream limestone with slabs in shower too, 3) cream limestone with tiles as below or 4) carrara marble with tiles as below?? Tough choice! Help!

I need your help!

Dear All,

A Merry Christmas to you and best wishes for the new year! As I have promised myself a few gifts for myself this year I am now desperately looking for two things found in the blog year of 2009; one of your fantastic blogs showed coats, jackets and a wedding dress with flowers made of fabric, which brand is this?????! Another one showed beautiful vintage style dresses with big pockets and the catalogue pictures had girls on vintage bicycles etc. Please let me know if you remember where these were from???! Thanks:-)

Summer breeze...

After a long COLD walk today I sit infront of the fire dreaming of a summer breeze and the perfect chilled out summer room like this one from Beach Studios. Something to work for over the next couple of months!
